The OAW Osteoarthritis (OA) Wraparound Brace with Patella Buttress is best suited for individuals with mild to moderate levels of osteoarthritis of the knee. It can also be used for individuals following meniscal or microfracture surgeries. It is designed for individuals who prefer applying a knee brace with a wrap-around design, rather than pulling on a knee brace.

The patented removable kneecap tracking buttress additionally addresses soreness from arthritis under the kneecap that often accompanies osteoarthritis within the knee joint.

IMPORTANT: This brace is available in either left or right knee versions. Before ordering, make sure you are ordering the correct orientation and size for your injury.

BENEFITS: 

The OAW Brace is designed to provide support and relief to the knee while allowing the user to remain active. The wraparound design makes it easy to put on and take off, and the low profile design allows it to be worn under clothing. The straps for the thigh and calf provide exceptional counterforce without sacrificing comfort. The sharkskin lining helps prevent the brace from slipping or sliding down. 

A low profile hinge provides additional osteoarthritis relief by enhancing stability to the knee joint. The hinge has an extension stop kit, which can be used to limit the range of motion of the knee. For additional comfort and added correction, the brace also comes with spacer pads to prevent the hinge from rubbing on the bony parts of the knee.
