The Dynamic Patella Stabilizer is a knee brace primarily designed to provide support for those suffering from pain or disorders related to their kneecap (patella). It is also indicated for individuals with medial or lateral collateral ligament instability, ACL/PCL instabilities, or arthritis.
BENEFITS:
The primary benefit of the Dynamic Patella Stabilizer brace is that it features extra padding around the kneecap (patella), as well as universal left or right dynamic pull tab buttresses that allow for desired pressure and comfort around the kneecap.
This brace also features upper and lower circumferential straps with elastic segments. The openings in the front and back of the knee help with positioning of the brace while also providing comfort. The durable, exposed aluminum polycentric hinges provide additional support on both sides of the knee. These hinges (available in the K44-NOS and KC44-NOS versions) come with range of motion stop kits with 0-30 degrees of knee extension and knee flexion range of motion stops available. (Note that the K44 version comes with Stays rather than hinges with range of motion stops.)
The breathable, open-cell Koolflex™ material, as pictured here in the KC44-NOS version, is latex-free. This brace is also available in 4-way stretch 3/16” neoprene (K44-NOS version). The brace is 13” in length. The interior sharkskin material helps prevent the brace from moving or sliding down.

The Dynamic Patella Stabilizer brace is most ideal for your patients with patellofemoral disorders or patella tracking issues. In addition to the general knee joint support this brace provides with its medial/lateral hinges, it gives extra support around the patella. The extra padding on the inside of the brace provides comfort, while the dynamic pull tab buttresses allow your patient to adjust the support on their own.
If your patient is post-op, you can use the hinges (available in the K44-NOS and KC44-NOS versions) to keep your patients in safe ranges of knee extension and flexion. There are several options for knee extension and flexion ranges of motion. Once your patient is ready to progress to the next range of motion, easily remove the hinges, adjust the range of motion stops, and replace the hinges. You can also teach your patients to adjust the range of motion stops on their own.
NOTE: The KC44-NOS replaces the KC12-NOS.
INDICATIONS:
The KC44-NOS Dynamic Patella Stabilizer is a specialized orthopedic device designed to provide support and stability to the patella (kneecap).
The KC44-NOS Dynamic Patella Stabilizer works by providing targeted support and compression to the patella. It features elastic straps and an adjustable buttress that help align the patella and prevent lateral displacement or excessive movement during activity. This helps reduce pain, improve stability, and enhance overall knee function.
To clean the KC44-NOS Dynamic Patella Stabilizer, hand wash it with mild soap and lukewarm water. Gently rinse and squeeze out excess water, then allow it to air dry completely before reusing. Avoid using harsh chemicals or machine washing, as these may damage the stabilizer.
The KC44-NOS Dynamic Patella Stabilizer is available in various sizes. To determine the correct size, measure the circumference of your knee and refer to the sizing chart provided on the product page. Select the size that corresponds to your measurements for the best fit and support.
Yes, the KC44-NOS Dynamic Patella Stabilizer is designed to be used on either the left or right knee. It is adjustable and can provide support and stabilization for both knees.
